Let's Paint The Wall!

I've done it last year just before our first magazine coverage. I've done quite many things back then, almost as much as before the first TV coverage. Some DIYs. It's good for me who often have lack of motivations doing all that. It's good for the house, and on top of that it's great for us there having a better space to live in.

And since it's DIY, it also good for our financial health.

DIY - Table 02: White

These white table done to complete the black ones. The combination between those two colors in our home office creates quite striking modern blast all over the room.

I'm happy.

DIY - TABLE 01: BLACK

If we only have a very very tight budget to spend on some furniture, one of the solutions is doing the DIY or Do It Yourself thing.

I bought these new but cheap wooden tables last year and I want it to look better (and modern) by paint it with basic color like black. I told the table maker for making it ready for the paint procewss so I don't have to sand-paper-ing it first.

Behind The Scenes - 28/04/2014

I've been preparing all these for about one week full. I'm doing the DIY project each days of that week to complete the look I wanted, of course, within our very very tight budget.

Hopefully I could make the husband proud for making our nest more pleasant to live in.

#JHouse Second Magazine Coverage - Dwell Asia

This time we have Dwell Asia magazine come to our #JHouse
I need around two weeks to do the preparations, scheduling and everything in between.
We had two different time photo shoots sessions since the first time didn't turn out quite very well.

Apparently second one was the charm, and voila: we're on Dwell Asia cover, April 2014!


If you're in Jakarta, you can get this April' edition on Kinokuniya, Plaza Senayan or aksara Kemang.
